RES has a MAKERSPACE!!!
Today our class visited our school's "Maker Space" which is a room dedicated to creative exploration and problem solving for all RES students of all age levels! It was pretty fun to try our first challenge. I asked the studens to design and build a structure as tall as possible with a controlled set of materials and a designated time limit. I was very impressed at the way in which the students teamed up to meet this challenge. Good discovery.....if at first you don't succeed....try, try again! Needless to say, the kids are being given another opportunity to explore this task.....with a fresh and enlightened lense......so fun!...
